Established in 1998, the International School of Bremen (ISB) is an English-medium private school serving over 380 students from kindergarten through grade 12. The curriculum leads to the IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, with small classes averaging 18 pupils.

 

The student body represents more than 40 nationalities. Boarding is available for students aged 14 and older in a residence located a short walk from campus, offering single and double rooms with study areas, kitchenettes, and full board. The school is set in a green suburban area with convenient city access.

 

ISB emphasizes holistic development through diverse co-curricular activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Model United Nations, and various clubs. Facilities include modern classrooms, science labs, sports amenities, and a health center within a secure campus.

 

The academic year runs from late August to June. Admission requires academic reports, a minimum English proficiency of B2, and an interview. Tuition discounts are available for advance annual payment. Graduates progress to universities worldwide, including institutions in Germany, the UK, and North America.
