Royal Holloway Summer Kids Camp is held on the campus of Royal Holloway, University of London, in a green suburb near the capital of the UK. The programme welcomes children and teenagers aged 10 to 17 and runs during spring and summer sessions lasting from two weeks. Each week includes 15–20 hours of English tuition, and students can join at any language level, including beginners, as classes are formed according to placement testing.
The campus is located in Surrey, close to the town of Egham, around 30 km from central London and within easy reach of major airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. Students study and live in the historic Founders Building area, surrounded by a fully secured university environment.
Participants stay in on-campus residences such as New Halls, Reid and Runnymede. Rooms accommodate one to three students and have private facilities, while kitchens and common lounges are shared. Full board catering is provided, including three daily meals and snacks, with vegetarian options always available. The campus is guarded круглосуточно, rooms are accessed by individual key cards, and valuables may be stored securely.
The camp combines language learning with a rich cultural and recreational programme. Alongside classes, students take part in themed evenings, sports, creative clubs and social events. Excursions are a key element of the course and include full-day trips to London, Brighton and Oxford, as well as shorter local visits around Egham. In London, students explore major landmarks, museums and cultural districts.
Facilities available to participants include sports halls, outdoor playing fields, tennis courts, common rooms, computer labs and campus Wi-Fi. Frequent trips to London are scheduled, allowing students to practice English in real-life situations while discovering British culture.
